Always…Patsy Cline is based on the true story of the legendary country singer’s friendship with a “good ‘ol country girl” from Houston named Louise Seger. From 1961 to 1963 (when Patsy died tragically in a plane crash), the two corresponded via letters about everything from music to men. The musical play includes over 25 unforgettable Patsy Cline hits such as “Crazy,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Sweet Dreams,” “Walkin’ After Midnight,” and many more.
Georgia Ensemble Theatre’s production is directed by Chuck Tedder, and will feature the incomparable Denise Hillis as Patsy and the fabulous Jill Jane Clements as her sidekick Louise. The talented band of musicians includes some of the now legendary cast members of the recent GET mega-hit Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story.
