A worthwhile non paying project for kids this weekend, spread the word!
Hello Chorus, Choir, Dancer, and Performing Arts KIDS and PARENTS!
My name is Linda Burns. I’m Producing a community video project and I need your help.
A few months ago we shot the first part of a community created music video in Atlanta with help from members of The Atlanta Ballet, PushPush Theater, Out of Hand Theater, Soul Shine Children’s Studio, Black Knight Stunts, Atlanta Rollergirls, Fancy Dancer Dance Troupe, The Director’s Guild of America, The Producer’s Guild, Atlanta Film Festival 365 and Georgia Production Partnership among others.
Now we’re wrapping up the project with a series of shots of colorful and energetic kids singing the lyrics to the song. We’re seeking all kids ages 7-12 to join us this Sunday evening, October 24th, 2010 from 5pm to 8pm to be part of this project. (The location is currently being finalized, but it will either be at Zoo Atlanta in Grant Park or PushPush Theater in Decatur.)
We believe this is a wonderful volunteer opportunity for a young person to experience filmmaking and get some time in front of a camera, as well as having an all around good time doing it….and I PROMISE to have your kids in bed at a reasonable hour!! 🙂
The video features the work of new artist Ben Lovett. To listen to the song, which has a very positive message, go to BenLovett.com, put in your email address and hit the download button. The completed video will be released on the internet in early November and be free to all to share and enjoy.
Again, we are shooting THIS SUNDAY, Oct. 24th, 2010 from 5-8pm and we’re hoping for lots of great kids!!
