Three industry opportunities to volunteer

GABPC Seeks Volunteers
Volunteers needed for planning and production of the 2009 Georgia BIG PICTURE Conference (GABPC) www.gabpc.com , taking place in Atlanta April 17-19, 2009.  Time commitment requires 5-10 hours per week leading up the conference, availability during the conference weekend, and attendance of up to three (3) evening volunteer planning meetings.  Successful volunteers will have the following characteristics:
 
* Some production experience helpful, but not required
* Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
* Able to work independently and accountable to deliver required results
* Self motivated, reliable and flexible
* Basic online computer skills, such as email and internet

Georgia Public Broadcasting Seeks Volunteers
 
GPB’s March Television Membership Campaign is in need of telephone operators to answer calls and take pledges in the studio.   We are especially looking for 25 volunteers for a LIVE taping on Saturday, February 28 from 2 – 7:00pm.   We are also looking for volunteers during the following shifts:
  
Wed. March 4 – 7:00-10:30pm                                             Sun. March 8 – 3:00-7:30pm
LIVE NIGHT – Tues. March 10 – 7:00-11:00pm           Thurs. March 12 – 7:00-11:00pm
Saturday, March 21 – 12-4:00pm
 

While volunteering at GPB, you will receive complementary lunch or dinner courtesy of Carole Parks Catering Company, free parking and training.  *during each shift volunteers will receive 5 GPB Bucks and a chance to win a drawing prize!!!

Atlanta Film Festival 365 Seeks Interns/ Volunteers
 
 
With an audience of over 13,000 and taking place over 10 days, the Atlanta Film Festival wouldn’t be possible without the efforts of volunteers.
