John D’Aquino:
John D’Aquino (Cory in the House, Shake it Up, CSI, Hannah Montana, Seinfeld) is a superb actor and teacher. It’s no secret he loves acting, but his true passion is teaching. John was very much inspired by his teacher, mentor, and friend, Charles Nelson Riley, who taught him the importance of helping actors find their voice.
Currently, John stays busy at his studio in Burbank. There, he teaches classes, holds private audition coaching, as well as video taping sessions. But that’s not all! John also holds local seminars, workshops, and summer camps so that actors can further their careers.
One of the greatest aspects of John is his unbound intention to help young actors not only become better performers, but better people. Here’s an excerpt from one of John’s recent newsletters, which so eliquently expresses this mentality:
“As educators and actors ourselves, we know performers are a different breed, and to help young actors, we must encourage them to feel, to risk and to strive tirelessly in their quest for their dreams. But we also know that we are preparing them for a greater game of life, and we must help them be prepared to walk into any room, (in show biz or any other ‘biz’) and stand tall, look a person in the eyes, shake a hand firmly and say, ‘I know I can make a significant contribution, I am fully prepared and I’m willing to outwork the competition.’”
The Acting Camp can’t wait to have John D’Aquino at the 2013 Pilot Season Jump Start Camp!!
