TIDBITS: The Atlanta Film Race will challenge filmmakers to create an original short film in just 24 hours and is part of the Diesel Film Racing Tour visiting 17 cities across North America in 2008.
Diesel Film Racing is dedicated to getting as much exposure for the filmmakers and their films as possible. Not only are the films showcased on the big screen for packed theaters across the country, but the top films have received over 500,000 views online.
Since 2007, Film Racing has given out over $85,000 in cash and prizes to the winning filmmakers to aid them in their future projects.
All of the completed films will premiere for the public on Wednesday, September 17th at the Midtown Arts Cinema in Atlanta. The top films from the Atlanta Film Race will compete for thousands in cash and prizes against top films from each of the cities on the 2008 Film Racing Tour.
