A lot can happen during 40 WEEKS of pregnancy. Angie is content to support her husband Mark as he pursues his dreams of being a novelist. But when Angie discovers that she is unexpectedly pregnant, lives are turned upside down. Issues of love, parenthood, fidelity, and unfulfilled dreams arise as old flames are rekindled and new relationships pop up in unexpected places. Michael Henry Harris’s debut play is a witty and achingly human tale of a group of urbanites in their thirties, wondering what life will be like when they grow up.
