NOTICE OPEN DANCE AUDITIONS

JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR GOSPEL

The ALLIANCE THEATRE is holding open DANCE AUDITIONS for its upcoming production, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR GOSPEL.

Andrew Lloyd Webber has given special permission for the Alliance Theatre to develop this exciting new gospel interpretation of his work by Louis St. Louis, experienced Broadway and film composer and music director (credits include Smokey Joe’s Café, Grease, Grease 2, and Mahagonny).  Alliance Artistic Director, Susan Booth, will direct with choreography by Hope Clarke.  

Production Dates: 

First Rehearsal:  12/9/08

First Preview Performance:  1/14/09

Opening:  1/21/09

Closing:  2/22/09

Audition Information:

When:                     Monday, August 25

Time:                       3:00 pm

Where:                    Rehearsal Hall #1, 3^rd floor

                                 Woodruff Art Center, 1280 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, GA  30309.

What to Prepare:   Be dressed and ready to dance – jazz shoes or whatever works

                                 best for you.  Bring headshot and resume if you have one.
