Invasion: Christmas Carol
Concept by The Dad’s Garage Improv Ensemble

Directed by Dan Triandiflou

In true Dad’s Garage tradition, here comes another alternative holiday production that you can’t see anywhere else! This year the award-winning Dad’s Garage Improv Ensemble will be skewering the quintessential Christmas play Charles Dickens’s – A Christmas Carol.

In this improvised full-length play, you’ll see your favorite Dickensian characters acting in ways that might not be so familiar as our seasoned improvisers create a whole new holiday experience before your very eyes. A different show every evening, the ghost of Ebenezer Scrooge’s past will be played by a different ‘invader’ (unknown to the cast) each night. Be it a visit from an astronaut, Julio Iglesias, or Mr. T – it’s up to the cast to roll with whatever surprises they’re dealt with. And, to add to the fun, the ghost of Christmas present will be played by an audience member plucked straight from the seats during the show. It could be you! So, join us for a new Holiday tradition that will have you laughing so hard it washes all of the ‘Bah Humbugs’ away.
