WANTED: FREELANCE TALENT SCOUTS

The Casting team is seeking external associates to act as freelance talent scouts all over the world. Freelance talent scouts look for artists in their own country, region or territory and bring them to the attention of Casting.

Cirque du Soleil offers its freelance talent scouts fixed-term contracts with compensation based on the scope of their assignment (i.e. number of recruitment activities, recommendations of qualified candidates, etc.).

By joining into an exclusive partnership, the International Federation of Gymnastics and Cirque du Soleil are combining their efforts to develop initiatives in support of athletes reorienting their career paths. These initiatives target high-level athletes nearing the end of their competitive career.

THREE WORLD PREMIERES IN TOKYO, MACAU AND LAS VEGAS

CRISS ANGEL BelieveZEDZAIA

ZAIA™, ZED™ and CRISS ANGEL Believe™ premiered at the end of 2008 and were crowned with success.

Respectively playing in venues in Macau, Tokyo and Las Vegas, these three resident shows bring the total number of Cirque du Soleil productions currently being performed all over the world to 17, and the number of artists on our stages to more than 1,200.

FIG CIRQUE DU SOLEIL PLANS A LONG-TERM STAY IN RUSSIA

Cirque du Soleil recently revealed its plans to enter into long-term partnerships in Russia and develop various forms of entertainment there. As a result, Russia may soon see touring shows under the big top or in arenas, special events, partnerships with the media and, eventually, a resident show.

NEW COLLABORATIONS WITH CREATORS

Several important creators are joining Cirque du Soleil to contribute to the multiple projects under development.

Among those who have recently collaborated with us are choreographer Wade Robson and composer Eric Serra.

And among those currently working on the creation of our future shows are stage directors Robert Lepage, David Shiner, Philippe Decouflé and Vincent Paterson (who is also a choreographer).
