Greetings!

 

Thanks to you we make our world a better place with performing arts. In December 2011, our Yuletide Fundraiser provided the means for 800 meals for those in need through Food Bank of Northeast Georgia.

Upcoming this week are auditions for Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors, and we are thrilled to share academy theater classes and James and the Giant Peach, too.  Rose of Athens Theatre wishes you and yours a very happy and prosperous New Year!

 

Auditions – The Comedy of Errors
 

Auditions for the slapstick nonstop spastic romp,  The Comedy of Errors are Wednesday January 11, 2012 from 6-7:30 pm. Please make an appointment in order to be seen.        Auditions are open to high school students and older. Prepare a one-minute classical monologue. Contact Program Coordinator Danielle Bailey Miller, danielle@roseofathens.org  or call 706-340-9181 to sign up for information or an audition time slot.
Callbacks will be held later that evening and on January 12. The Comedy of Errors will perform at Ashford Manor June 13-17, 2012.

Also, beginning January 20, two morning academy classes and one afternoon class will be held each Friday at Athens Tae Kwon Do Center through February 24. Lisa Cesnik Ferguson teaches Spectacular Masker-doodle Skills  and Charlotte House teaches Puppet Palooza II.
