Working on “A Thousand Circlets” has been one of the most satisfying creative experiences I’ve had as a theatre artist. The collaboration with Theroun Patterson, my talented playwright friend, the extraordinary design team, and this gifted and hard working cast has made this four week rehearsal process a joyous one. You’ll get a chance to see the Leighton family coping with the challenges of Alzheimer’s and the day-to-day challenge of loving one another. Our hope is that, by seeing this play, you will support Essential Theatre’s mission of giving new playwrights a chance to have their voices heard.
