The Charleston International Film Festival will take place in this historic city of South Carolina on April 23-26, 2009.
For four days, the CIFF hosts red carpet premieres, networking events, workshops, after-parties, and culminates in the black-tie Gala Awards Ceremony.
One of the many feature films to be screened is Gospel Hill, filmed entirely in South Carolina and stars Danny Glover, Angela Bassett, Julia Styles, and The RZA. Directed by Giancarlo Esposito it will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
The SCFC will present two discussions on Saturday, April 25 at the Terrace Theatre. At 11:00 a.m. a roundtable of film and television writers will discuss Script to Screen and at 2:00 p.m. The State of SC Film and the SC Production Fund.
