KIDS & TEEN WORKSHOP:
One workshop will be for children ages 10 – 13 This class will be from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM on both Saturday and Sunday,
We are also having a teen workshop for ages 13-17. Class time for this group is 1:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Sharon Lieblein, CSA
Sharon Chazin Lieblein, vice president of talent and casting for Nickelodeon Networks, has cast and overseen casting for several hit shows for the network, including iCarly, Drake and Josh, Zoey 101, Unfabulous, Just Jordan and Ned’s Declassified, and the new True Jackson VP with Keke Palmer, among others. Previously a staff member at Witt-Thomas Productions, Lieblein cast several shows, including The John Larroquette Show, Brotherly Love and Pearl. As a freelance casting director, she cast several pilots for Fox and television movies for NBC and CBS, as well as independent features. Lieblein, who joined Nickelodeon in 1999, works closely with the development departments at Nickelodeon and The N to cast or supervise casting on its pilots, series, TV movies and specials. She sat on the board of the Casting Society of America for 4 years and is a member of the Advisory Committee for Looking Ahead, a division of the Actors Fund of America.

ADULT WORKSHOP:
June 13th and 14th
UP TO THE EDGE BUT NOT OVER THE TOP: FULL EMOTION ON FILM.
If 90% of camera acting centers on finding richness in reality of the ordinary exchanges of daily life, the remainder observes the uncharacteristic release of feelings most of us try to keep hidden. On the first day of this two-day course, we will explore varied techniques for tapping emotion and attaching it to the text, and the use of several triggers to keep it handy during the distractions of filming. Scenes demanding deep, complex, or surprising release of feeling will be provided at the end of the first session for overnight prep, and the second session of the weekend will be devoted to filming and playback. The course aims to determine the most effective tools for each individual actor, and will vary from person to person. Because of the specific attention required, class size will be limited to 16.
Two four-hour sessions required, Saturday and Sunday June 13-14.
