Youth on Set of “Funny How Things Happen”

Sessions are designed to prepare young actors of all levels for realistic Hollywood expectations while using performing arts as a means to heal.  Over the course of each six-week session, beginning students will learn basic acting techniques, stage direction, improvisation, monologue and slating. Returning students will be challenged to co-write, co-direct, co-produce, shoot and ultimately perform in THEIR VERY OWN youth web-series.

Actor/Director Charmin Lee IMDb

These amazing classes will be taught by veteran actress Charmin Lee.Lee, who graces the Blueprint 4 Hollywood team with more than her innate sense of nurturing leadership and vision, she also brings to the table a career that encompasses over 20 years of work on stage, screen and television. She is frequently recognized for her recurring role as, Maya’s mother on the hit show, “Girlfriends”.  Her most recent credits include “The Vampire Diaries,” “The Game,” and “Drop Dead Diva”  (to name a few). Ms. Lee is also the On-Set coach of BET’s “Let’s Stay Together”.  Because Ms. Lee also has an extensive background as a director, producer and acting coach, it is her mission to educate her students on every aspect of taking an idea from the “page to the stage.” and “from a dream to the screen”

Kiami Davael best known as “Lavender” in Matilda IMDb

Kiami Davael. Kiami will be working alongside Charmin Lee, instructing our young actors ages 5 to 8 years old. She is best known for her role as “Lavender” in the 1996 hit movie “Matilda” starring Danny Davito and television show “In The House” starring L.L. Cool J.

She recently relocated from Hollywood to continue her acting career. She knows exactly what it means to be a child actress/child star! She is also very excited to  share what she has learned with our kids!

Noree Victoria will also be teaching alondside Charmin. She will be coaching our teens ages 9-11 year old class. Noree Victoria has appeared in various national and international films and television productions – such as “Quarantine 2”, “Necessary Roughness”, “Army Wives”, “Single Ladies”, and “Locked Up Abroad” – Noree Victoria has produced and co-produced several music video projects, a feature length film, and a short film. One of which screened at the San Francisco Black Film Festival in 2010. She is currently pursuing her acting career and training between Atlanta and Los Angeles. In her spare time, she teaches drama to children and adults, writes for several online media outlets, and lives as if every moment is her last.
